On September 29, India conducted surgical strikes at eight Pakistani terror camps, along the Line of Control.

The strikes were a response by the Indian army after terrorists from Pakistan crossed into an army camp in Uri, Kashmir, earlier this month. Eighteen Indian soldiers lost their lives in the attack.

As per statements made by India’s armed forces, 38 Pakistani terrorists were killed during the strike. However, Pakistan denies these claims, stating that only two soldiers were killed and nine were injured in a cross-border shootout initiated by India.
